Alternative to SubSideKick

I know it is the end of the school year so things are slowing down anyway, but I wanted to put this out there in case anyone is looking for a backup plan for next fall.

A fellow sub told me about robosubai a couple of weeks ago.Has anyone else here tried it yet? Are there any other alternatives still working with the new Frontline updates that I should look into before next school year starts?

Has anyone in Florida completed the ESOL endorsement or ESOL K–12 certification process through the Florida Department of Education?

I’m considering starting the process over the summer for next school year, and I’d love to hear about your experience. How long did it take? What route did you take? Coursework, FTCE exam, or another pathway?

I’m also curious about how ESOL positions are usually assigned in Florida districts. Are ESOL teachers typically based at one school, or do they often rotate between multiple schools? I know this may vary by district, but I’d appreciate hearing what it looked like for you.

If I book myself for a half-day job, will Frontline still show other half-day jobs for the same day, as long as they don’t overlap? Or am I automatically blocked from seeing/booking anything else for the rest of that day?

Does anyone know if there’s an app or website where substitute teachers can rate or review schools specifically from a sub’s perspective?

I’m not talking about general school ratings or parent/student reviews. I mean things like how organized the school is, whether lesson plans are actually available, how supportive admin/office staff are, student behavior, check-in procedures, and whether subs are treated respectfully.

It would be really helpful to know which schools are sub-friendly before accepting jobs. Does anything like this already exist?
