If I had a nickel for every time my Front Aces failed to activate A&S I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
The odds of missing A&S on both 1200 WIT (SMaru) and 1023 WIT (VBourbon) is approximately 0.65%. I lost by 1/2 a length and two heads, and with it, 1,300 Carats.
