Excited for the wipe, not looking forward to re-doing priority contracts.
I’m thrilled about levelling up and making progress with the factions. I’m one of those gamers who gets a thrill from watching numbers climb in multiplayer games. With two decades of WoW and twelve years of Destiny under my belt, I’m ready for the grind. My body is ready!
However, the thought of replaying the priority contracts fills me with dread. When it comes to story-driven content, there’s nothing more unsavoury than reliving a tale I’ve just experienced. Apart from SekGen, which I thought was incredibly tedious, I found the priority contracts to be decent enough. Not overly complex, but a one-time run was fine. The dialogue and codex entries were top-notch. But, alas, I have no desire to go through them again.
My main worry is that I might be forced to replay them to access any new seasonal story. As far as I know, Bungie hasn’t given us much information on new stories for the upcoming season.
So, what’s your take on the prospect of replaying the priority contracts?
