UCD Radiography vs Portobello Physiotherapy – Career Advice

Hi everyone, I’m currently deciding between UCD Graduate Entry Radiography (2.5 years) and Portobello MSc Physiotherapy (2 years).

I’m more interested in physiotherapy, but I’m concerned about the quality of clinical placements at Portobello and whether this could affect getting the first hospital job after graduation.

For anyone working in radiography/physiotherapy in Ireland, which would you choose for long-term job stability, career progression and flexibility, and how important are placements for getting that first job?

Would really appreciate honest advice. Thanks!

UCD Graduate Entry Physiotherapy (DN420) – Anyone receive CAO Round 0 offers yet?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone received an offer or update for the Graduate Entry BSc Physiotherapy (DN420) at UCD via the CAO?

Trying to gauge if Round 0 offers have already gone out or if people are still waiting on UCD admissions to release final decisions.

If you received an offer (or a rejection/waitlist email), would you mind sharing when you heard back or your general background/stats?

Thanks!

Has anyone received an offer today for the UCD Physiotherapy Mature Entry or Graduate Entry programme?

Just wondering if any offers have gone out yet today. If you’ve heard back, it’d be great to know.
