Android 102

Android 102

This is Android 102, or A-102 for short.

Despite appearances, A-102 is a fully mechanical android, like Androids 16 and 19, but was built to be far more advanced than either of them. She has a synthetic skin that's nearly identical to human skin, and can eat food to turn it into energy to power her systems. This is different from her Infinity Engine, which supplies ki energy for battle and energy attacks.

A-102 is actually one of a series of androids created by Dr. Gero, but were deemed inferior because they were each designed with specific skills lacking others. These androids included A-101, A-102 herself, A-103, A-104, and A-105.

A-101 was a strategist that couldn't fire energy beams or blasts, and relied on regular guns for long-range attacks.

A-103 was an aerial fighter with advanced flight maneuverability and relied on energy-based weapons for battle.

A-104 was designed for heavy assault, being given dual arm cannons instead of hands for heavy fire power.

A-105 was built to be a high-speed tracker, able to find a target and pursue it relentlessly with heavy defense and extendable arms for long reach.

A-102 herself was designed to be an assassin, employing a hit-and-run strategy with advanced targeting systems and utilizing sniper-like ki beams.

A-102 and her siblings were awakened by Dr. Gero's computer after Cell's defeat, but they weren't all together in the same lab. Rather, they were scattered across the world in hidden locations, sealed away after the mad scientist decided they were useless. But A-102 was unhappy with this.

While remaining offline, her electronic brain was "dreaming" in a way. She changed and evolved, and grew to become self-aware with her own free will. Like Androids 17 and 18, she saw no reason to follow the programming Gero gave her, and upon awakening, gave herself a new directive. To free her siblings of the hardwired programming they would no doubt still be following.

The first one she went after was A-105, to prevent them from hunting down Son Goku. At this time, none of them knew of Goku's death from stopping Cell's attempt to take the Earth with him.

One by one, A-102 hunted down her siblings, destroyed them, and erased any remains of their programming, declaring them saved from the evil of the late Dr. Gero.

A-101 was the most difficult one to take down, and A-102 was badly damaged by the time the fight was over. She was willing to accept her fate once she declared A-101 saved. But destiny had other plans, in the form of the Supreme Kai of Time.

The SKoT brought A-102 to Conton City, where she got Bulma to repair her, and even upgraded her to be more human mentally. At first, A-102 was confused, believing she no longer had a purpose now that her siblings were saved. But the Supreme Kai of Time said she had a new purpose for her. To help protect history, and keep the innocent safe so they didn't have to worry about being harmed by evil beings like Gero.

A-102 took a moment to think about it, and agreed to take the job. From that point on, she became a full-time Time Patroller.

Kira, the God of Destruction-in-Training

I'm curious to know what backstories all you Earthling mains gave your OCs to explain how they can compete with the likes of Goku and the Z Fighters and more. Feel free to share, while I explain Kira's story.

Kira's was a pretty ordinary human who loved nothing more than a good brawl. She's been that way sinve she was a kid. While not originally a martial artist, she was no slouch in a fight, and was always looking for someone she could fight. That's actually how she met Goku.

Goku was visiting Bulma at Capsule Corp., when he felt some strong ki that flared up for a moment. Curious where it came from, he focused and followed it until he reached a hidden, underground fighting arena. He was a bit confused at first, not thinking anyone in a place like that could have much strong ki, when he felt it again.

The ki he felt came from one of the two fighters in the arena, specifically a girl in her late teens, who was giving her opponent a run for his money. She won the fight pretty quickly, and was announced as the winner. Kira.

Kira boasted that she could take anyone in a fight, and dared anyone in the audience to challenge her. Deciding to humor her, Goku volunteers, and steps into the arena. The fight went about how you probably imagined it. Not only did Goku easily deflect or block of her attacks, but he didn't even really fight back. He just gently flipped her or sweeped her legs a few times until he said he was bored and tossed her out of the ring.

Needless to say, Kira was pretty angry, and followed after Goku, demanding a rematch where he was fighting seriously. She refused to believe Goku was as strong as he was claiming when he told her he was WAY out of her league. Finally, just to prove she was no match for him, Goku took Kira outside of the city, much to her surprise when he flew and carried her, and demonstrated his power by going Super Saiyan.

Kira was in so much shock, she couldn't get a single word out. While not a Saiyan herself, she had her own pride to uphold, and demanded that Goku help to make her stronger so she could have a chance of a real fight with him. Since Goku senses she had strong energy and potential, he agreed. Just so he could have someone new to fight, of course.

It was slow going at first, but she was able to learn to control her energy, fly, and fire ki blasts faster than most humans. It surprisingly started going faster when they used the gravity chamber to increase her physical strength.

During one of their training sessions, Kira was able to meet Beerus and Whis, the latter taking an interest when he saw how fast the human girl was growing in her training. In just under a year, she was able to somehow handle 100x gravity as if she was a normal human in normal gravity, and managed to learn the Kamehameha, the Kaioken, and even the Spirit Bomb.

Whis spoke to her about coming to train under him alongside Goku and Vegeta, with a little argument from Beerus about having another mortal on his planet. He agreed after being bribed with desserts. But Whis had his own agenda for training Kira. He intended for her to learn to be the next God of Destruction should Beerus kick the bucket or decide he wanted to retire.

Kira was told about it later, and Whis managed to get Beerus to take part in training her, without telling him he wanted her to be his possible future replacement. She excelled in her training, and was soon able to keep up with the Saiyans, but was still weaker than them.

Kira has the potential to be a power God of Destruction, but she has yet to decide if that's what she really wants. Whis has faith that she'll decide she wants the job, and will become the strongest God of Destruction in the Multiverse. Only time will really tell what the future has in store for her.

Glacia, a female of Frieza's Race, formerly Human

I'll explain, so the title makes sense.

Glacia was originally an Earthling, and actually one from our world. Or at least a version of our world, where the Dragon Ball series never existed. She knew nothing about the world of Dragon Ball, until her soul got pulled through and inhabited the body of one of the fighters. (If you're familiar with the story mode of Dragon Ball FighterZ, you can tell what she went through. Which of the game's stories she experienced, feel free to guess.)

Anyways, a few years after her soul linking adventure, she suddenly woke up to find herself in the Dragon Ball world once again. Glacia was able to meet up with the Z Fighters, and they offered to help her out.

Bulma suggested that maybe they could use the Dragon Balls to wish Glacia back to her world. So they gathered them and summoned Shenron, and then Glacia wished to be sent back to her own world. Sadly, it was outside of Shenron's power, and he was unable to grant the wish.

While disappointed, Glacia wasn't gonna let it get her down. And since they already called on Shenron, everyone agreed to let Glacia have the wishes. She used the first two to wish for a house of her own, and a lot of money so she didn't have to ask Bulma for it. Piccolo was a bit annoyed Glacia wished for something she could've asked Bulma for help with, and when he voiced his annoyance...

Piccolo: "You gotta be kidding me. You could wish for almost anything, and you wished for stuff Bulma could've gotten for you."

Glacia: (quietly) "Well, I can't wish myself back home. What am I supposed to wish for?" (Out loud and meant to be sarcastic) "I wish I was the same race as Frieza!"

Piccolo: "Wait, don't say that out loud!"

Glacia realized too late what she said, and that Shenron didn't hear what she said before. And before she could correct herself, her whole body was changed. Shenron declared all of the wishes were granted, and said his farewells before vanishing. It was too late now.

Glacia had hoped she could undo the wish in a year, when the Dragon Balls could be used again. But as she lived and trained with everyone, she got used to it. And then she was recruited by the Supreme Kai of Time to become a Time Patroller. Mainly because she's not supposed to be in their history anyways.

Glacia still doesn't know how she can get back home. But as long as her new body can be useful among the Time Patrol, she doesn't plan on wishing herself back into a human until she does find a way back to her world.

Her story is a bit unusual, but then, what Dragon Ball character's story is normal?

Kinabra is a fusion between a Kai and an Earthling through the Potara Earings. One that actually save the lives of the two separate beings.

The Kai was known as Dabra, and was from the same generation of Kais as Elder Kai. Dabra and Elder Kai actually used to be friends, and were both options to become the next Supreme Kai. Unfortunately, Dabra contracted a magic sickness, and it would eventually take her life. In order to preserve her life, Dabra chose to place herself in a magic sleep, until someone could cure her of her ailment. This left Elder Kai to become the next Supreme Kai of his generation, but he lost his friend.

The Earthling is named Kini. She lived a pretty normal life, until she happened to meet Piccolo, and was amazed from watching him train. She begged him to train her, but her refused at first. It was only after weeks of sticking around Piccolo's training grounds, even going as far as setting up a campsite so she could stay longer, that he finally gave in and agreed to train Kini. She was a fast learner, though nowhere near being a prodigy in martial arts or ki control.

One day, after an intense training session, Kini happened to stumble upon a cave, where she found and accidentally awakened the sleeping Dabra. The two talked, ended up becoming friends, and Kini introduced Dabra to Piccolo. The magic sleep had suppressed Dabra's magic sickness, but she was still sick. And unfortunately, no cure had been found yet.

About a month after Kini had found Dabra, they were hanging out in the city, just having fun together, when a nearby bank suddenly exploded. Some bank robbers ran out with more explosives in hand, and without thinking about it, Kini jumped in to stop them. It was a fast fight, and Kini was able to take them down easily. So much so, that she let her guard down at the worst time. One of the robbers got lucky, and stuck a bomb in her belt. And when she let her guard down, it was too late when she noticed it.

Dabra got her friend away from the scene to check on her, but the blast did a lot of damage. There was no time to get a sensu bean or bring her to someone who could heal her, and unfortunately, Dabra never learned how to use healing magic before putting herself to sleep. Not sure what else to do, she made a drastic decision, but one she thought about before doing it.

Dabra took one of her Potara Earings and put it on Kini's ear. In seconds, the two of them were pulled together, and fused into Kinabra. While not completely healing the injury from Kini, it did buy Kinabra more time to get to the lookout so Dende could heal her. And despite not knowing how, the magic sickness that Dabra had was now gone from Kinabra's system completely.

Kinabra was healed and completely healthy now, but she couldn't be separated into Kini and Dabra now. Since Dabra was a Kai, that meant the fusion was permanent. She was told Shenron could separate them with a wish, but surprisingly, Kinabra didn't want to be separated. Her reasoning was that Dabra's originally chance to become the Supreme Kai was gone now, so she felt she didn't have a real reason to stay in the world of the Kais. And she had planned to explore anyways. And Kini didn't have any family expecting her to return, which was why she was able to stay with Piccolo for so long in the first place.

So, Kinabra was here to stay. She continued Kini's training with Piccolo, which was moving faster with her increased power from the fusion, and caught up to most of the Z Fighters in record time.

One day, Kinabra was approached by the Supreme Kai of Time, with an invitation to join the Time Patrol. Her skills as a fighter along with her Kai abilities made her a unique fighter, and could be a great help in protecting history. She had to think about it at first, but in the end, Kinabra accepted.
