Crack in takeda blade
Hi everyone!
I recently bought a Takeda NAS kiritsuke gyuto 240 in Tokyo, but when I unboxed it back home in the US i noticed this crack on the blade. It’s on both sides of the blade, and my fingernail catches on it. Do I need to sharpen down past the crack, or should I just use it as is and hope over time I’ll sharpen it out? Just worried about the crack getting worse. Thanks!
