Hey folks,

My wife has just secured a half plot on an allotment on the south coast, and it has a fairly sizeable fruit tree on it.

It's not been tended for a year or two so will need coppicing, but it's absolutely loaded with fruit right now.

We're assuming it's a varietal of plum, or possibly greengage? Hoping someone can get us closer to the truth!

Edit: got my terminology wrong, definitely meant prune and not coppice!
