Is Brave or Firefox the best fit for me for my secondary browser?
I'm not looking for what has the best privacy. Privacy matters, security matters more.
I switched to brave a few months ago because I found it to be more stable, I think I also like how it looks better than Firefox. I've heard of controversies but I think all features require user consent, aka it won't send telemetry or force me to opt into anything without asking. People get mad at Brave for having bloat, but Firefox and Brave both put VPNs in their browser.
Brave's CEO might have controversial beliefs but as long as his beliefs don't affect the company's decisions then they are his and his beliefs alone.
Something I've noticed is that Firefox used much more RAM months ago, but has been making considerable efforts to cut RAM usage. Still, in my experience Brave's RAM use has been absolutely unbeatable.
