Help to validate a spotify replacement setup

Hello fellow self-hoster friends,

I have decided to start looking into a Spotify replacement, just for testing for now and maybe for more people in my family once the test is done and good.

I have been reading a lot of posts in this sub reddit about it lately, but i am still uncertain about the most recommended deployment? If that can help answer, i am just building playlist to play them offline on my phone and enjoy once in a while listenning to my discovery weekly (in spotify). So those 3 criterias (playlist build and discovery tool and also playable from my phone) are important to me and I'd like to replicate them in my self-hosted deployment if possible.

From what I have been reading and gathering, i thought the most adapted deployment for myself would be:

  1. Lidarr - to monitor artists and trigger downloads

  2. Prowlarr - to manage indexers

  3. NZBGet/qbitorrent - for downloads

  4. Navidrome - music server and streaming

  5. ListenBrainz - scrobbling

  6. Substreamer for ios or Symfonium for android

Am i in the right with this containers list ? or did anyone come up with a better deployment for them ? thank you 😄
