I’m filming my daughters volleyball games with a sigma 18-50 lense and while the results are ok is there something better?

I have to sit very close to the court and would like a little bit wider angle if possible also, the lighting is usually pretty bad so maybe a faster lense would help. Recommendations? Thanks!
