Hi all,
So I am planning on going through Windsor-Detroit tunnel to obtain my TN visa. However, since my job is in California, and I would only be able to enter less than 5 days before the start date because the company preparing my TN support package is extremely slow, I cant drive alone all the way to California without a second driver with me.
I am worried if I cross the border with my US citizen bf, they will scrutinize and say I have immigrant intent…
I am perhaps overthinking but I am always pulled for secondary screening every time I enter the US and they also have it on records that I have entered US in the past one week to visit my bf (I visited for 4 days). Also he lives in Boston and I am moving to California and we aren’t even engaged. My car will also be packed with stuff and I’m just a bit nervous about being denied TN.
I have primary ties to Canada, such as a lease signed till may 2027, my siblings and bank accounts. Would that be sufficient to prove non immigrant intent?
