Hello fellow craftsmen and insurance risks! I have come to your part of the internet to find out if my thinking is correct or if I’m supposed to deeply ponder if I should abstain from procreating.

I recently bought a used corded 230mm (roughy 1/400 football fields for the Americans) angle grinder for use in a table jig. But I was wondering if I could put a 125mm(1/720 football fields) disc and guard on it without any major unforeseen issues? Other way around is famously a bad idea but this should be fine right? I am aware that it would have a slightly lower rpm and I can’t reasonably think of any issues. I’m writing this with two fractured fingers from when I removed a wooden block from under a dozer blade with a pipe only for the blade to press the pipe down and crush my fingers so I am trying to be more careful even when I think I am being safe.

Thank you in advance, sorry something English and hugs & kisses :*
