Lack of full time positions
I am currently working in the SNFs and getting burnt out for a wide variety of reasons ranging from specific job related to company related. As I have been looking for new positions I have noticed how there are very few full time openings. I live in an area where there is an alleged shortage of SLPs (currently I am the only SLP in my company between 5 different buildings) so one would think there would be openings galore. At the current moment I’m not in a place where I can move as I have just recently moved to leave an area that was oversaturated with SLPs. Does anyone have any insight into what might be going on?
