I've heard that you can make candlewax note from this material, but in pure form it smells like some kind of grapefruit stripped off its fruitiness mixed with laundry chemicals.But I kinda get where people who recommend it are coming from. How much should I dilute it to get that waxy feel? Maybe you can recommend other ingredients to get candlewax effect?

Hi everyone! I'm planning on adding hydrocarboresin to my incense accord (mainly frankincense and myrrh) because I've heard that it has a pretty orthodox churchy vibe to it. Has anyone worked with it? Is it better than labdanum for this type of fragrances? Or should I buy ordinary labdanum resinoid?
