Can i put normal android on the 28 and how to bypass the screenflip for mame and ds ?

i just ordered a mini zero 28. Can I theoretically do the move like on the one 35 so turn the display and then playing with the joystick and buttons for games were i dont beed the r/L like new mario bros ds ?
