I used my wellness account to claim two items. Both were already submitted and approved, so that part is done.

The issue is with the fitness tracker — It not working as i expected it to and want to return or exchange it for a different one (likely around the same price).

I’m a bit unsure how this works from an insurance/benefits standpoint:

If I return or exchange it, the receipt will obviously change.

Do I need to inform the insurance company/benefits provider about the return and new purchase?

Or is it fine as long as I stay within the eligible amount and category?

Basically just trying to avoid any issues later on. Has anyone dealt with something like this?
