Monitor display is really washed out
Hey guys, I'm at a loss here..
I've recently taken my partners old monitor and set it up with my own in a dual setup. Problem is, this monitor is displaying everything in a really gross and washed out way and I can't figure out how to fix it.
I've tried fixes with HDR (its off), I've tried everything in the Nvidia control panel (dynamic range is on full), I've messed with the monitors brightness/contrast/gamma settings, but NOTHING will take away this weird grey filter that covers the entire screen.
Whites are not true white, they're like a dull grey, same goes for black colours, and all other colours are washed out too. Dragging things from this monitor to my monitor and the difference is night and day. Mine is crisp, great contrast, and vibrant, and this one is just... dull. It almost hurts my eyes.
My graphics drivers are up to date, I have a feeling it might be something to do with Windows but I don't know what....
I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions. For reference, my monitor (working fine) is an MSI G241 and the monitor I'm having issues with is an MSI MAG272. Cheers
