In college for Journalism Degree and don’t know what to do?

Im currently in college for a journalism and communications undergraduate degree, and I recently realized just how poor the industry is (both the shallow pockets and shallow morals). I cannot switch out of the major due to scholarships and I’d like to not transfer to a different school. More than anything though, I’m not sure what career to pursue.

I love the liberal arts, history, philosophy, literature, you name it! I’m better than average at writing and I have strong research skills. I’ve thought about teaching, but I would only be able to tolerate private schools and the pay sucks there and many require a masters degree. I’ve thought about a regular old communications job, but I am not sure how mentally active that is or what it would look like. I would love any advice on what careers could possibly fit me with the degree I will have.

Thanks!!
