My late dog is always present and alive in my dreams

I can't remember any dream after her death in which she's not present. She's always there and with the same behaviour she had. But I wouldn't say I'm grieving. I miss her, of course, and would be really happy if she somehow comes back, but remembering her doesn't make me sad. When I think of her I just remember how much I loved her and how happy she made me. So probably I dream about her because she's something I wish, even if it's impossible to bring her back in real life.

But the weirdest part about these dreams is that every time I see her in a dream I remember her death and burial and get confused, like "she already died, I saw her being buried, but she's here somehow". Sometimes I just accept she magically revived and continue the dream like it's normal, sometimes I start thinking the dog we burried was not her and she was alive the whole time and sometimes I really don't get it and try to touch her to check if she's a ghost or something. And when I try to touch her in my dreams, she's solid, soft, just like touching a real dog, and she walks just like she always did.

What do you guys think? Is it just my brain missing her and wanting her back or is there a deeper psychological perspective into this?
