Animals of Grimgar, The Anime. Name and Description in the Post.

I have gotten these images from the Grimgar Encyclopedia, also known as GRIpedia, however, as the link is not secured, I will not be sharing it in this post for obvious reasons.

Another thing worth noting is that the website is in Japanese, and it is directly translated, so I am unsure if these are the actual names of the creatures or not.

1) Sturch

They inhabit the Kazahaya Wilderness. While wild specimens cannot be tamed, domesticated breeds—selectively bred by humans or Orcs—can be ridden. The breeds raised by Orcs are particularly large. They can reach top speeds of 70 km/h and travel up to 100 km in a single day, though they will flee if overworked. They are not as docile as horses or horse-dragons.

Furthermore, they have limited load-bearing capacity and require careful handling. If approached from behind, they will attempt to drive the intruder away with a powerful kick from their hind legs.

Consequently, herds of Strouch run in a side-by-side formation; to avoid being kicked, one must always mount or dismount from the side.

Their meat is tough and mild in flavor, though not unpleasant.

2) Peby

They inhabit the entire region of Grimgar. Their fur varies widely in length, color, and pattern, and there are many subspecies.

They are highly curious and can sometimes become accustomed to humans. However, they are extremely sensitive to hostility and are incredibly fast runners.

They form herds with complex social structures; individuals separated from the herd are highly aggressive and dangerous.

They are omnivorous, feeding on vegetation, insects, and the like.

Their fur is highly valuable, and their meat is delicious.

3) Ganaro

Long-haired varieties inhabit high-altitude forests, while short-haired varieties live in river basins and marshlands.

They have long been domesticated by various races—including humans—serving not only as sources of meat and milk but also as a source of labor.

Wild populations form medium-to-large herds.

They have a gentle temperament, but if attacked, they rarely flee; instead, they put up a fierce fight.

Their meat is delicious.

4) Mirumi

Its place of origin is unknown. While humans view it as a creature that takes a liking to their kind, it actually bonds readily with any race.

Wild specimens are rarely seen; they mostly breed in the vicinity of settlements belonging to humans or other races, living under their protection.

Though generally laid-back in demeanor, it is surprisingly agile.

It eats almost anything but has a particular fondness for insects, especially bees and termites. It displays a brave side, too, refusing to back down even when attacked by hornets.

No race typically eats the Milmi; it seems the taste simply isn't worth the trouble.

5) Nadi

They inhabit forests, particularly congregating in large trees.

Beyond merely building nests in the trees, they engage in primitive beekeeping by transporting hives and cultivate edible plants within tree hollows.

They are highly intelligent creatures. They never acclimate to humans or orcs, attacking by hurling objects at anyone who attempts to approach them.

However, they maintain a friendly relationship exclusively with Elves.

According to connoisseurs, their meat is considered a delicacy.

6) Pigworm

A subspecies of large burrowing rat (roughly the size of a cat) that exists in large numbers. They are kept as livestock by kobolds. While they may look off-putting at first glance, they apparently become endearing once one gets used to them.

Which architecture style do you prefer, the Manga or the Anime?

Hey everyone, I recently just started reading about the Manga and can't help but notice a difference in the architecture style in both works.

While they're both great, I personally prefer the architecture style of the Anime.

What about you guys?

Camoflauges in Football, Swiss FC Camo Jersey.

Hey everyone, since it's the world cup season, I thought it'll be interesting to find and post camoflauge clothing used by various Football Clubs.

For this post, I've found a Camo pattern used by the Swiss Football Club Sion released in their 2020-2021 Kit.

Earlier Horizontal Stripe Pattern of Burkina Faso. (Info in Description).

A curious find from Camopedia, the pattern in question seems to be a preceding design used shortly after the coup in 1987, with more brighter colours and would have later been used as a blue print for the Orange Striped Camo pattern that is seen in image 2.

Camoflauge Across the African Continent: Splotch or Spot Camo Pattern from the Republic of Congo (Congo-Brazzaville).

An interesting Splotch or Spot pattern that was worn by Para-Commandos and other elite units in the Republic of Congo (Congo-Brazzaville). It's usage was restricted to elite units of the nation's armed forces.

It was phased out in 1975.

Camoflauges Across the African Continent: D.R Congo's "Grassland" Camo Pattern.

A rather interesting pattern I've found from Camopedia, this Camoflauge pattern was said to have been used by the presidential guard in 2010. Personally, I vibe with the darker tones equipped by the Security Personnel in the second picture.
