Running iPads in Single App kiosk mode via Intune. Intune has no option to set brightness (not in templates, not in settings catalog), so before enabling kiosk I manually cranked brightness to max and turned off auto-brightness on the device itself. Worked great, until the iPad auto-updates iOS.

Every time it updates and reboots, brightness gets reset to minimum. Since the device is locked in kiosk, there's no way to adjust it from the iPad itself.

My current "fix" is brutal:

1. Remove kiosk configuration in Intune
2. Sync, wait ~10 min for it to apply
3. Pick up the iPad, set brightness back to max
4. Re-add the kiosk configuration
5. Sync, wait another ~10 min

Doing this every time iOS updates is not sustainable.

Has anyone solved this cleanly?
