Two Nights and a Day in Barcelona

I'll be coming into Barcelona on the ferry from Tangier in October (21st - 23rd) and I am squeezing in a couple of days to visit Barcelona before catching the ferry to Rome. With no car and not much time, I don't plan on seeing everything. Food, wine, music, and history feel like great areas to focus on. Any advice on areas to stay or things to do while I'm there (even if the advice is "do nothing") is appreciated!

Agriturismo in October - Recommendations?

I'll be renting a car in Civitavecchia (ferrying from Barcelona) the last week in October (10/25-10/30) and will have a week to explore before returning to Rome for my flight back to the US. Originally planned to stay at a couple of places near Lake Bracciano but would prefer to get a little further into the country. I'd be especially interested in any local harvest-related feasts or festivals. Really though, anywhere with great wine, great food, and interesting places to visit would be wonderful! Prefer to be within two hours of FCO for my return. Any great ideas?
