I am a British Citizen, so I have Medicare (under a reciprocal UK-AUS agreement) but I am unclear what insurance I should be looking for in my current role. I have an ABN and am working as a PCA/Support Worker for several people who are physically disabled, but have obtained all these roles through direct/personal referrals and none of my clients are business owners, nor are they NDIS participants. The physical work is not particularly arduous, but that doesn't eliminate the risk of me becoming injured and I want to make sure that I am covered in case of a problem. have applied for the generic WorkCover (VIC) but am not clear what other insurance I should be looking for. Any advice would be much appreciated.
