I'm on Steam right now and saw that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Special Edition is on sale for only 4.99 €. For that price I'm seriously thinking about grabbing it.

I picked up Sparking Zero recently and I wasn't very good at it. It was my first Dragon Ball fighting game though, so I probably just didn't know what I was doing yet.

That's why I'm asking here: How beginner-friendly is Xenoverse 2? Does it have a steep learning curve too, or can a total newbie jump in and still have fun without grinding forever or practicing combos for hours? Is it worth it for around 5 € if I just play casually?

Would really appreciate some honest opinions. Thanks!

I’m a total beginner, started playing ZZZ just a few days ago when it dropped on Steam.

The second I saw Ye Shunguang (YSG) I knew I had to have her. My pulls were kinda wild though: first I got Von Lycaon, then I lost the 50/50 on her banner… but I kept going and somehow got her anyway! She’s my first limited S-Rank and I’m really happy about it. She just feels so fun to play.

The problem is I’m still pretty bad at getting her into her strong form because I don’t have Zhao yet. I also don’t have her Signature W-Engine. I’ve got enough pulls saved that I could go for it, but it would take another 80-160 pulls.

So my questions are:

Is her Signature (Sunna) actually worth it for a new player like me, or are there decent F2P options that work fine?

What are some good beginner teams with YSG right now without Zhao?

Any tips for someone just starting with her? Like important Drive Discs, how her rotation works, stuff like that.

I really wanna build her properly since she’s my first limited and I liked her from the very first moment ❤️

My heart rate hit 170 while summoning and I still have 54 pulls left.

I used around 160 pulls to get Lucy to S3, her signature weapon, and I also got Jianxin and Verina. Definitely can't complain about my luck.

Now I'm not sure what to do with my remaining pulls. Since I already have Lucy's weapon, should I keep going for more copies of her, save for a future banner, or pull for something else?

What would you guys do in my situation?
