37 thinking about enlisting
Hey All,
37 years old here and always found myself looking up boot camp videos and researching military operations wishing I had made the decision to join when I was younger. The skies opened up and what do you know the enlistment age was raised to 42. Ive been in military environments before attending military school and really thrived from the discipline and the accountability that comes with this choice of career path. Basically just looking for some pointers or things to look out for that can help me down the road. I’m sure what it is I want to do but I know no matter what I’m going to have to be the best version of myself and that requires getting my ass in shape. I would prefer to be active duty and actually participate in combat missions. I’m sure a lot of people say this because of what they see on TV but my thoughts are if I’m going to do something I’m going to be the best of the best of them or else whats the point. Im looking for that last push to make me realize it’s worth it and it’s challenging but getting through that challenge will make me a better man and a better soldier. Any advice is welcomed 🫡
