What gave you the confidence to go for it come race day? And how did you build your confidence leading up to the race?
Goal marathon pace has never felt “easy/cruisy” for me thus far in training, even though I’ve been able to hit it as prescribed (and often faster) in all my workouts and long runs. I’m tapering now, and I think the last piece I need to work on is confidence and mindset. Would love any and all mental tips and tricks!
