Are there people who honestly believe the chief executive telling a reporter, "What a stupid question," is an optimal representation of America to the world? Like, seriously?!

It's not as if it's a one-off. He does this all the time now. He refers to representatives of color almost exclusively as "low IQ." He calls human beings asking him questions about his job "pathetic" and "disgusting." He celebrates the deaths of his political opponents while demanding no jokes about his aging and inevitable passing. And how is it that so many people ok with all of this, still call themselves "Christian?" It really does feel like a made-up world.

This morning, gas is averaging $1.48 more than two months ago, before we sucker-punched Iran. That's an estimated increase of $22.2 per fill-up, for more than $1,100 a year (if you fill up once a week, rather than drive delivery or commute any distance). Doesn't include the increased costs for shipping (from Amazon to Walmart), fertilizer (impacting ALL groceries; meat or vegetables), and jet fuel (hence the shuttering of SPIRIT).

If Trump declared victory TODAY, that wouldn't BEGIN to improve for months, with the supply-chain clogged and some refineries having to be rebuilt. The job market remains stagnant, inflation is increasing by the day, more people are being shot (this time in a campground in OK, which is not ok), our military is being fed prison rations while stationed in the Middle East on the cusp of the hottest summer in living memory, and he's anxious to invade Cuba still, while his most ambitious pro golf tournament to date had fewer attendees than a JD Vance appearance at a Turning Point event. The ONE thing almost everyone still thought he could pull off, appealing to the insanely rich, and it's another FUBAR.

All of that, and we still haven't seen the rescued "Easter Miracle" pilots (4 weeks, yesterday), let alone the unredacted Epstein files, or know if he's going to make Kash Patel undergo gender-reassignment, because the big, tough Donald really only likes to fire women. How's your math? Happy Monday.
