I am a new teacher and we recently had prac students join us since the start of this week.
The senior teacher in my department is supervising a prac student.
However, she randomly drops in my class and drops off her prac student when she feels like it.
Today, she said she wanted to sit down with the prac student in my class.
When asked why, the supervising teacher said it was to give the prac student confidence and to discuss about what is happening in my class.
Is this normal practice and was I wrong in telling her I am uncomfortable with this arrangement?
