Doubt regarding admission and hostel allotment

I will be going for admission on 13th Aug in whichever college i will get on upgrade through BCECE Engineering. So, i wanted to ask that,

  1. What documents are needed for admission? Doc Verification Slip ke alawa orr kyaa kyaa lgega orr kitne photocopies lgenge?

  2. Hostel allotment ka kyaa process h? Form me kyaa kyaa fill krna hota orr konse doc submit krne hote h? I saw in this sub that, i don't remember exactly but ig, people are saying aadhar card pe parent's ka sign chahiye.. Aesa h kyaa? Ik hostel milne ke chance kam hai..

URGENT - REGARDING ELIGIBILITY OF NON UP STUDENT

Hi everyone,

I'm from Bihar. I passed my 10+2 from Bihar, and both of my parents are also from Bihar.

I'm interested only in Government B. Tech colleges in Uttar Pradesh, not private colleges.

While checking the official UPTAC opening and closing ranks, I noticed that Round 6 and 7 (Spot Round) for some Government colleges has an "All India" category.

Does this mean candidates from other states (like Bihar) are eligible for admission to those Government colleges in the spot round?

Also, are outside-UP candidates eligible for Government colleges in the regular counselling rounds, or is it only possible through the All India category in the spot round?

If anyone has gone through UPTAC as a non-UP candidate or knows the rules, I'd really appreciate your guidance.

I STAND WITH SONAM WANGCHUK SIR🙏🏻

It's honestly sad that someone has to go on a hunger strike just to get attention to an issue. Whatever your political views are, this shouldn't be the only way to make people listen.
Also, at this point, it feels like no one is really listening or treating it as a serious issue. The current government doesn't seem to care about people's lives anymore. What's equally disappointing is that the opposition, too, has remained completely silent on this matter.
All they do is provoke people over religion and caste, and sadly, people have also turned this into another Hindu vs Muslim fight.
I was thinking that "Are we really so divided that even a hunger strike gets buried under religious fights?" and I guess the answer is yes.

Maybe the biggest problem isn't the silence, it's that we've become used to it.

This issue deserves attention, not silence.

  1. Go to digha (Jhaa se JP Setu Bridge cross krne ke liye auto milta h) and ask any auto that you have to go to arwal by bus and to drop you at lakkh (It's before the phulwari sharif).. Fare of Digha to lakkh is ₹20 - 30 (If the auto driver asks for ₹30, try bargaining it down to ₹20). From lakkh take a shared taxi to mehandia (~15 km ahead of arwal).. Fare is ₹150 - 200 from patna to mehandia (If the driver asks for ₹200, try bargaining it down to ₹150 - ₹180.. If you get off at arwal then it will cost you ₹150.. for bargaining go till mehandia). From mehandia.. GEC Arwal is 2.5km.. you can walk or take auto if you want.. (You can also find shared taxi from below R Block Road Bridge, Shaheed veer kunwar singh azadi park ke pass se.. it's <1km from patna juntion.. I'm not completely sure, but when I was returning from Mehandia to Patna, shared taxi dropped me here. So, you might find a shared taxi from here as well.)

  2. From patna take train for jehanabad (there are multiple trains available) then from jehanabad take a bus for arwal and from arwal take an auto for mehandia, if bus will not go further.

  3. You can also find bus from gandhi maidan, patna to arwal. (Not sure about this but bus will go from patna to jehnabad first then from jehanabad to arwal).

I visited GEC, Arwal in July 2026 and travelled there using option 1. However, option 2 and 3 are also viable options. I asked people who had visited earlier, and they recommended option 2 and 3 as well. Since there is no railway station in Arwal, you can't reach there directly by train. You'll need to take a bus or a taxi for the remaining journey. The roads are in good condition, and it took me around 2 to 2.5 hours to reach Mehandia from Patna.

Clarity Regarding Document

In my aadhar card my father name is "dr ranjan kumar" and in marksheet and admit card of 10th nd 12th it's only "ranjan kumar"... Also while registration for counselling or in JM admit card/score card.. BCECE admit card/score card.. i have given father's name as "ranjan kumar".. since whaa likha hota h kii 10th ke marksheet ke hisaab se bharo personal details.
So, income , caste nd residence certificate have which father's name for ugeac/bcece/uptac admission doc. verfication? (Maine "Ranjan Kumar" naam se bnwa liya h as maximum jgh only "ranjan kumar" hai)
Koii issue tohh nhii hoga doc verification ke time?

Safer side ke liye affidavit bnwa lu kyaa?? (Get a short notarized affidavit stating:
“Dr. Ranjan Kumar” and “Ranjan Kumar” refer to the same person, father of [your name].”) - Suggested by AI

In which of these colleges i can get CSE core?
MIT Muzaffarpur , BCE Bhagalpur , BCE Bakhtiyarpur , GCE Gaya , DCE Darbhanga , NCE Chandi?

Also chances of getting MIT Muzaffarpur IT branch?

Baaki ECE and other branches tohh mil hii jayenge 100% in top 3 colleges?

CSE specialization bhi chalega mujhe but CSE core mil jaye tohh achaa hai.
