Hi everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I’m in an interesting situation due to overthinking and would like your input, please. I have a USA passport that was issued in 2019 and expires in 2029. In my passport picture, I smiled with my teeth and am wearing a gold chain. It ended up being accepted, and I’ve used it a few times for domestic travel without any issues (haven’t had any international travel plans). I’m going to Japan in about 2 months, and am now overthinking about my picture. Has anyone traveled to Japan with a USA passport in which they smiled in their picture? Will this be an issue? I’m worried they’ll reject me at the airport for some reason, so I’m not sure if I should renew my passport now to be safe. Any input would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi everyone, does anyone have hotel recommendations for Umeda Osaka? We’ve decided to stay there instead of Namba because it’ll be better for our day trips. We’re thinking staying by Osaka Umeda Station would be best. Any hotel recommendations are appreciated, thank you!
