Trying to cancel a non-refundable Airbnb for an upcoming trip because the host has been super rude and unaccommodating through text. He honestly seems to have something against me and the interactions have made me really uncomfortable. At this point I genuinely don’t feel safe staying there anymore and no longer want to stay at this Airbnb, but we’re only a week away from the trip so there’s no refund.

Has anyone experienced something similar or had Airbnb help them in this situation? I’m not even asking for a refund back to my card — I’d honestly just appreciate Airbnb credit so I can book somewhere else and still go on the trip.
