Grade II listed building.
Looking at buying a grade II listed building. Was needing extensive reno in 2018 and I can see all been replastered (with lime according to estate agent) and roof has been addressed.
Ive searched local planning and can't see anything about this works. Asked the Estate agent specifically about the roof and gas central heating being installed but no prior planning via the council.
The estate agent has advised the owner has spoken with a conservation officer who passed the work.
Am I wrong in thinking that that isn't right and planning would still be needed?
Is there anything i can do other than insisting on Indemnity insurance as part of out offer has to be taken out by the seller? Tia
