Hi everyone,

My H-1B transfer was filed under premium processing, and the USCIS online case status tracker has been showing “Case Approved” for over a week now. However, I still haven’t received any official confirmation, approval email, or I-797 approval notice copy from my attorney/legal team.

I already received:
Receipt notice
Online USCIS approval status

But no further communication yet from attorney/HR besides saying they were still waiting on the official notice.

Has anyone experienced this recently with IOE receipt numbers / premium processing cases?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently going through an H1B transfer with premium processing and wanted to understand recent timelines for receiving the receipt notice.

My petition was just shipped to USCIS, and the attorney mentioned that the receipt notice may come around May 13. However, based on what I’ve seen, receipt notices are usually generated within a few business days after delivery.

For those who recently filed (April 2026 timeframe):

How long did it take to receive your receipt notice after USCIS received your petition?

Did anyone experience delays beyond 4–5 business days?

I’m trying to plan my notice period with my current employer, so any recent experiences would be really helpful.
