Planning to drop IISc after the first year of MTech here. Reason is I got emotionally exhausted here, I feel lonely in a weird way here. I hate the cold weather it feels gloomy to me all the time. I just feel like sleeping all the time and no studying or no focusing on work. I came here thinking to do research and now I am barely studying to pass the courses. I have a below average cgpa but got an internship in AI/DS. I feel like I want to restart my journey and continue learning at a new place. I have learnt that I am not intuitive in computer vision areas or maybe I spent really less time studying so I didnt learn much...but I enjoy the math behind ml models...I only saw them before exam so didnt perform good in exams but I have an interest in doing these things but somehow my motivation is all time low here....idk why but it feels like the chilly weather is just making me sad and lonely here all the time...I hope Madras has sunny weather and helps me gain my confidence in studying back
