Was eyeing Fitbit Air since months, ended up buying Inspire 3

I've been tracking the launch of Air since months, was gonna buy it. (Fortunately) missed the early discounts.

I still like the Air's design way better.

But, in terms of tracking, found that Air and Inspire 3 are almost similar. Of course Air being newer may have a slight edge. However, given I've not been tracking myself very closely so far, Inspire 3 would give me enough insights.

My use case: while I like the idea of screenless, I realised I occasionally want access to a watch on my wrist. Inspire 3 fits that use case and I can just keep notifications off.

Weight wasn't too off, 12 vs 18 grams.

Air had its advantages, but the price differential did not make sense.

Inspire 3 - 7999 on Amazon (+ some promotional offer + Amazon card cashback) = approx 7.2k

Air - 13,999 on Flipkart (+ 1000 bank offer or 7.5% Flipkart card cashback) = approx 12.9k

In case anyone is still deliberating, I would suggest you review your use case and your current watch/tracker usage habits closely.

Air does look good but it should fit your use case. Don't give in to the hype.
