i run a practice clinic and have been doing patient intake and consent forms half on paper and half over email. trying to move everything to a proper e-signature platform, especially since PHI can end up floating around in email.

what do you actually look for beyond a platform saying "hipaa compliant"? is a BAA, security certifications, audit trails or anything else particularly important?

anyone actually using an e-signature platform in a healthcare or private practice setting? would appreciate recommendations based on day to day use rather than just marketing claims.

shortlisting agencies for a wooden furniture build and i keep seeing the same weird pattern.

they all have the same portfolio. same brands in the case studies. same "we're a full service partner" language. then you ask a specific question about how they'd handle custom dimensions and variant logic for configurable pieces and you get a 3 day delay followed by a copy paste deck that doesn't answer it.

the other one that keeps coming up is agencies who want to sell you a 6 month retainer before they even know what your catalog looks like. like the scope is just a formality.

what's the biggest red flag you've seen when an agency is pitching you? the thing that makes you know it's going to go sideways before you sign anything.
