Put the EPS Carry on the X macro using the plate and screws with preapplied thread locker, all from the Holosun box. My slide uses M4, not the M3 that everyone thinks it needs. I even put witness marks across the optic frame and screws.
The optic nearly flew off the gun at the range, and pretty quickly..1 or 2 mags.
Either the screws in the box were too long, and the torque driver was clicking only because the screws were bottoming out, or there was oil in the threads, or both. The optic seemed to be pretty tight by feel.
Can someone tell me what length m4 screw I should be using with the plate and/or without the plate?
I have an email into holosun (you can only leave voicemail), but who knows when they will answer.... I do have some 9.8mm and 8.2 mm screws with a matching chamfer angle laying around tho.
BTW almost all the screws you can get off Amazon dont match the chamfer angle of the screw pocket on the optic. And the heads on most are so big that they touch the glass. If you go down that road, buy everything and return what doesnt fit...
