Hey everyone. Since joining and started my own GLP-1 journey after Christmas 2025 I have been taking the jab and have successfully lost 21kg. One of my sources of encouragement and inspiration has been all your success stories. While I still have 10kg to go I wanted to share my 4-month progress so far.

I am quite tall at 6'4 so for me the best way to see the changes besides the scales going down has been the clothes I used to wear. I used to wear size 3XL UK tops and 38" jeans. Now I'm wearing 32" jeans and medium/large tops.

I started this journey after getting pneumonia and now lifelong lung issues, along with my heart condition and vein problems my doctor heavily encouraged me to look at myself and make changes. 21kg in 4 months seems fast but I've been eating well, going to the gym 3 days a week, and pushing my weights each Monday. I feel great, confident and excited to spend so much money replacing every item of clothing i have haha 😅. I no longer fit into my 54" suits, I'm now a 42" jacket.

It hasn't been a smooth journey, but reading all your posts and seeing your progress images has really kept me motivated. So a very big thank you to everyone xx.

Following my success my parents are planning to take It via doctor oversight and that's brilliant.

Ps: i promise i can smile, i just hate taking pics of myself haha

Hi everyone. I've been on manjaro for the last 4 months and I've lost 21kg so I count myself as quite successful. My parents are 65 and are retired. Both are obese and have been prescribed mounjaro from their doctor. While I can give them advice, of course this comes from someone who's younger, fitter, and with different health concerns. Is there a place on Reddit or are there videos on YouTube that I can send them that are more focused for the older patients?

A lot of the videos that I've used and I've found information from are from people my age at 36 or people with kids in their forties. Suggestions for articles or video content would be helpful or just advice from you guys would be really good. Thanks.

Ps. I hope to post my own progress update, I personally have come down from a 3xl and now weighing medium/large clothing.
