Skilhunt H200 - red light setting

Skilhunt H200 - red light setting

Hi all,

I have a Skilhunt H200 and can't get just the red light to work. I need the lowest red light setting. If I hold for 2 seconds I get a red light but the white light is on too. No idea what I'm doing wrong. Is there a way to customise the firmware? I really don't need all of the different modes - it shouldn't need a manual I take with me to figure out how to use the torch. Maybe I'm being an idiot.

When I got it into red mode (only) originally, I could only cycle it through two levels and they were pretty bright. I just need the lowest level or to figure out how to get through those 5 red settings.

Is click + hold two movements or is it just pressing once and holding? So 2 clicks + hold would actually be three presses but with the last press held?

Intel GPU drivers

Hi,

If you have a CPU that has a built in GPU (e.g. N100), do you need to install the Intel GPU drivers and add them as a device to any docker that needs to use the GPU (e.g. for transcoding), or it is all covered already because it is within the CPU, rather than a separate piece of hardware?

Thanks!

HDD Cache - 256MB vs 64MB

Hi all,

If you could buy a 2nd hand HDD with 95% but it has a 64MB cache for £45 or a new model that is 256MB for £130, would I be silly not to go for the 2nd hand one?

It's used solely for media storage. Apps sit in an SSD.

Splitting out a master list into individual rows

I have a table that shows a list of countries as rows and tasks as columns. Inside each cell for a particular country and task will be one or more dates of when those tasks are due, separated with commas. I've done this to make the master table easy to read.

Master table

Is there an easy way to split those cells out on another sheet with a description column and a due date column?

etc...

I've simplified the example - in the real version there are over 100 countries so I needed a way to easily summarise and edit the task dates for future, but have it as individual rows in the new sheet so that I can upload that to sharepoint as a list.

Reoccurring tasks in Sharepoint List

I have a long list of tasks in a Sharepoint List that need to reoccur each month, quarter, or year, depending on the task.

Is there a way to have a master list that Power Automate pulls from, checks the date, and creates a new task for the next period? I don't really want to have to create individual automations for each task as there is probably 100 of them.

New small home server

Hi all,

I currently have a Raspberry PI as my home server with an external USB 2TB HDD for main storage and app data on the internal memory card. However, this setup has hit its limit and I'd like to upgrade!

Space is a premium where I put my home server so I went with a 2nd hand Lenovo M920Q with 16GB RAM and 256GB internal SSD for £260, but I am now reconsidering as it looks like it might be a right pain to setup any kind of basic and reliable storage pool. I don't necessarily need redundancy as none of the data is family photos or important documents.

Keeping the unit small, minimising the amount of power plugs I'll need, minimising energy usage, and keeping cost below £400 for the mains system (HDD cost can be on top), what would you guys consider? This isn't going to be some workhorse or something I'll need more than 5TB of usable space for. Just enough to run a few docker apps like an *Arr stack, Paperless, etc. Unraid stood out to be because it made it easier than me doing everything manually.

Recommend a sleeping mat

Hi all,

I’m looking for a sleeping mat that is easy and quick to put away, and not noisy to lay out. Therefore, I’m guessing it can’t be anything that’s inflated.

Anyone have any best suggestions please? I have a simple foam mat at the minute but you can feel everything through it.

Annual compliance tasks - Sharepoint List vs MS Planner

I run a team that has various annual compliance tasks that must be completed. Each country has its own unique tasks and someone sitting in that country is responsible for those tasks. I need to have oversight to make sure the tasks are being completed. There can be anywhere from 10 tasks to 50 tasks for each country.

Do you know I'm better managing this via a Sharepoint List or MS Planner? How would you consider laying it out?

Hi guys,

Both similar prices (Anker £6 more).

Anker has a built in cable, which would be useful for not having to dig around for a separate cable. But, it is a bit chunky for if you put it in your pocket.

Anker: 81.5 x 50.5 x 36.1 mm
INIU: 83 x 52 x 26 mm

Which would you go for?
