Since these funds already generate income through options strategies (covered calls etc...) I’m trying to understand if layering my own options on top actually adds value OR if it’s just redundant / caps upside too much...

A few things I’m curious about:

• Have you sold covered calls against these funds? If yes, what kind of returns did you see vs just holding?
• Anyone selling cash secured puts to enter positions instead of buying shares outright?

Trying to figure out if it’s worth actively managing options on top of these, or if it defeats the purpose of holding them in the first place...
