So I've been going back and forth on these two for a while now and I honestly can't make up my mind. The specs seem close enough that it doesn't matter, but I know real world performance is a different story.
I'm a wannabe audiophile so sound quality is my main priority here. I'm a daily commuter, mostly traffic and metro. In terms of ANC, how well do these actually hold up? Also for the battery life, the longer the better.
For context, I've heard the OnePlus Buds 4 are the best in this range but they use LHDC which only works with my phone and not my laptop (Linux). The Nothing Ear (a) has LDAC which works across both but I've read it's inferior to the OnePlus in most areas.
So if one is significantly better than the other across sound, ANC and battery, I'll just buy that one and not care about compatibility. But if the difference is marginal, I'd rather go with the one that plays nice with all my devices. Is the gap big enough to ignore compatibility or not?
