I was suddenly reminded of some of the products I previously participated in, from design through to production and market launch. Seeing them still being sold today brings a lot of mixed emotions.

This piece in the image was one of the designs I was involved in back in 2019, when I had just started working as a lighting designer.

Hey everyone,

I’ve just finished the initial prototype of a chandelier I’ve been designing and would really love to hear your thoughts!

At the moment, the metal parts haven’t been painted or finished yet. I’m currently considering either an electroplated silver finish or a brushed silver look.

Do you think one would suit the design better? Or do you have any other suggestions?

Appreciate any feedback—thanks in advance!

My Wife and I bought our first house and had a dream of building a reading room/ coffee bar. We did most of the work ourselves and it was a learning experience for sure. We really love how it turned out.

I added some before pictures at the end I think it really puts into perspective how much work went into this room.

Fun hobby of mine, we try to furnish our home with mostly thrifted items.

Let me know what you think!

My most excited find is slides 2 and 3, a Restoration Hardware sofa for $200
