Service Charge Admin Fee Advice - Share of Leasehold

Hi just looking for some advice on a little email chain here, I will shorten as much as possible.

I was late paying my quarterly service charge - invoice dated 3 March.

On the 6th of May I received an email with an invoice attached demanding immediate payment for the outstanding service charge AND £60 admin fee.

I paid the service charge i owed quickly and sent an email to the management company:

>I have paid the service charge invoice just now.
My apologies I totally forgot about it.

>Can anything be done about the Admin fee please?
£60 is a lot for me to pay out.

They did not respond for 6 days and I started to worry that it may escalate if I leave it any longer. So I emailed again...

>I am following up regarding my previous email sent 6 days ago concerning the £60 administration charge, as I have not yet received a response.

>I appreciate that the original invoice dated 3 March remained unpaid longer than intended, and I have now settled the outstanding balance in full.

>However, I would be grateful if the administration charge could be reviewed, as £60 appears quite high relative to the action taken. I also did not receive any reminder or final demand prior to the charge being applied on 6 May, which may have allowed the matter to be resolved earlier.

>Please could you confirm whether the charge can be reconsidered..

Management company response:

>I hope you are well, apologies for the delay in response,

>your request for the arrears charge to be removed is currently under review and I will get in contact shortly.

Management company response 3 days later:

>Following review, your request for the arrears to be credited has not been approved on this occasion. As such, the outstanding balance remains payable on your account.

Obviously I'm in the wrong - I forgot to pay but I just the £60 is a lot for adding a line to an invoice and sending an email - Also no benefit of the doubt or reminder offered stinks when I am technically a customer of theirs, as share of leasehold we pay them to manage our building.
