Skilled Trades Ontario – Equivalency Assessment resubmission via email – anyone else in this situation?
Hey everyone,
I applied for a skills equivalency assessment with Skilled Trades Ontario last year but got rejected because I didn't have enough hours at the time. I've since hit the required hours, and when I called customer care they told me I can resubmit under my existing application, just send an email with the updated documents.
I did that about two weeks ago and haven't heard anything back yet. Just automatted acknowledgment.
Just wondering if anyone else has gone through this same process, resubmitting to an existing application via email rather than starting fresh. A few things I'm curious about:
- Did you get a confirmation email or any acknowledgment at all?
- How long did it take before they actually reviewed your updated submission?
- Any rough idea of the overall timeline from resubmission to a decision?
I know STO can be slow but two weeks with zero response is making me a little anxious. Any info would help. Thanks!
