Faded proxy prints
So, I started my foray into proxy printing. I'm using an Epson ET-2800 with Koala matte photo paper and 3 mil laminate with the Pen & Gear laminator.
My first print test: I grabbed some high DPI images from MPCFill and uploaded them into Proxxied. I then downloaded a PDF. I printed those and laminated them the next day. They came out really good!!
Second print test: same process, except I added a custom back to the printouts and saved the PDF using the duplex setting. I printed them and they looked OK to start. I left them for a few hours and when I went to laminate them, I noticed the front faces were faded. I laminated them anyway as to not waste all that.
I can't figure out why the fronts faded like that. I used the same settings. Only different was the custom backs instead of leaving them blank. Can someone who prints on both sides help me out here??
