Honestly, I think recovery is starting to feel more like a hobby than my actual training.

Recently I’ve noticed I spend almost as much time thinking about recovery as I do actually training.

Foam rolling, stretching, massage gun, sleep tracking, even random recovery videos… now I’m seeing people talk about compression boots and I’m wondering if I’m just collecting recovery methods at this point.

At a certain point, I honestly can’t tell anymore, am I actually recovering better? Or am I just trying every new recovery method because it feels productive when I’m not training?

At what point does recovering better just become another form of procrastination from actually training?
