Food from Pinduoduo/Duoduomaicai

Has anyone ever bought meat from Pinduoduo/Duoduomaicai?

I bought 2 kg of chicken drumsticks/thighs the other day. When I defrosted it, nothing seemed off (no rotten smell and the appearance looked ok). I meal prepped 6 meals, ate all of it and nothing has happened.

Should I continue buying from there? Honestly, It has really good deals, and as a student it's a life saver. Sometimes I end up spending only 5-10 rmb per meal, and a really balanced one (with rice, a lot of veggies that I buy from a local supermarket, and enough meat).

But I'm afraid I might be damaging my health long term. I don't really care if the meat has been frozen for months; meat can be edible anytime as long as it has been kept in really low temperatures... But maybe it's been frozen, defrosted, and frozen again? Also, stupid assumption but could the meat be "fake"?

My only other option is to buy meals from "拼好饭" on Meituan, and sometimes I feel like even the restaurants there buy food from PDD for their menu to be so cheap (15-20 RMB). But the quantity of meat and veggies is also scarce, most of the time they fill up the containers with rice. It's like 1/2 rice, 1/4 veggies and 1/4 meat
