Do you do side quests?

Do y'all think the game can be enjoyed only by playing main story missions?

I didn't really take my time to do side stories or any activities since I didn't really find them that exciting and I mainly focused on the main story. I just Finished 3 remastered and seeing a completion of 3% is insane. I feel like I'm missing out but in the same time I dont really like to do side stories because some genuinely bore me.(only "side" thing I did was abuse majima everywhere system cause that was fun).

What do y'all think? Should I also play side stories going forward into 4 or keep doing my way of only main story?

(Also I notice that in every game im always severely under leveled and dirt poor because of this, but you gotta take the losses)

Edit Verdict: Most people say they are worth it, and personally I might try and give em a shot also.(Sad I moved with everything so fast until now and rushed everything.Maybe il come back to 0,1,2 and 3 to try the sidequests after finishing the series) I feel bad for not doing them but sometimes time is pressing you, but il try to give em a shot from 4 on. Thanks to everyone for the insights I will keep reading anything posted here. <3

Finished Yakuza 0. Starting Yakuza Kiwami

Just finished Yakuza 0. I had a blast although I tend to rush the story in games and don't give time to look at side missions and options, but this game sometimes made me go around to find things. I still didn't do most of the side missions and kind of rushed till the ending which I kind of regret, but I haven't had the time or patience to play games slowly.I Will pick it up again and try to do some side content.

I've been playing Kiwami for a bit and I've reached chap.4. I love it and I'm actually just searching for Majima since I just wanna fight bro.For now I really love The Majima Everywhere system.

Any things I should really watch out for? (For example in 0 I didn't even know you could dash with E until I finished the game, and there were a lot of mechanics I missed and just played without. Half the game I didn't buy one Healing item. And where should I bind the Block key since it's really annoying me in it's original spot)

Anyways.I love this game and I can't help but keep recommending it to my friends.I love the charachters and the story. It's amazing. I didn't know much about the series except the memes but I'm presently surprised.

Thank you for listening to me. Sorry for the not so great English. Love and peace.
