[Announcement] Voting is Closed - eCash (XEC) Pool Coming Soon

Good afternoon miners,

The votes have officially been tallied, and the winner is eCash (XEC)!

We are going to hit the ground running on building this out. The new dedicated XEC pool will feature all the standard HashedMax bells and whistles you're used to, including our full loyalty point integrations and reward structures. We are still fine-tuning the exact math for the payout structure, so stay tuned for those specific details.

The "When is it Live?" Reality Check: As a quick reminder, the new XEC pool will not go live until the Multi-Pool servers are officially spun down. Our original plan was to pull the plug as soon as the final BC2 block settled... unfortunately, that block is currently taking its sweet time and dragging its feet.

We apologize for the delay on that front (the blockchain moves at its own pace sometimes), but please ensure you have pointed 100% of your hashrate away from the Multi-Pool in the meantime. We don't want you throwing away hashes into the void while we wait for this last block to cross the finish line.

We appreciate you all sticking with us through the transition, and we'll post another update the second the new pool is ready for action!

[Announcement] New Payouts Live, DGB Rewards Doubling, & The "Replace the Multi-Pool" Poll!

Good morning miners,

A few quick updates for you as we roll into the week:

1. Payout Restructure is Live The new payout structures have officially been deployed across the pools. We babysat the servers through the transition and, looking at our backend views, everything is settling smoothly and working exactly as intended. We are tidying up some of the information on the sites to ensure it matches our current payout model. If you see something off, don't hesitate to speak up!

2. DGB Rewards are Doubling As promised, the DGB loyalty drop and the weekly reward winner increases will go live this Sunday (6/28/26) at 00:00 EST. We are doubling both: that means 2,500 DGB distributed to the loyalty pool, and 2,500 DGB to the weekly winner!

3. Multi-Pool Sunset Reminder As soon as the last BC2 block is fully settled, we are pulling the plug on the Multi-Pool servers. If you still have rigs pointed there, please reroute them to another pool so you aren't hashing into the void.

4. The Replacement Poll! Now for the fun part: picking the new dedicated pool. Reddit's native polling feature decided to completely strike on us this morning, so we had to go with the tried-and-true SurveyMonkey.

Please take two seconds to cast your vote via SurveyMonkey to decide what we build next:

As always, thank you for the support and happy hashing!

[Announcement] Multi-Pool Alpha Results and Changes, Reminder of Pool Payout Changes

Good morning miners,

A few weeks ago, we launched the auto-switching Multi-Pool (BC2, NMC, XEC) into its Alpha phase. A huge thank you to everyone who pointed their hash over to help us stress-test the architecture.

Now that the data is in, we have made the decision to officially sunset the Multi-Pool Alpha and spin down those specific servers.

We always promise to shoot straight with you, and the reality is that the multi-pool simply didn't meet our standards. The required three-address configuration is clunky, it fundamentally breaks our ability to integrate our standard reward points system, and honestly, the tokenomics of the coins involved just aren't delivering the consistent value we want for our community.

Rather than keeping a subpar, clunky system on life support, we are cutting it so we can focus our infrastructure on better projects.

The Sunset Timeline: We will be sunsetting the Multi-Pool on Sunday 6/21/26.

The Good News: What’s Next? By spinning down the multi-pool, we are freeing up significant server capacity and development time. We are immediately reallocating those resources to build out a brand-new, dedicated pool for either Cheetah Coin (CHTA) or eCash (XEC). A poll will be posted in the next day or so to see what the community prefers between the two tokens. The intention will be to implement a rewards structure on the new pool regardless of token.

Reminder: The previously mentioned changes to the pool payout structure will be going live on Sunday 6/21/26 around 0800 EST. We elected to not force the changes at exactly midnight in order to ensure our team is awake during the change rollout to make sure everything is settling correctly.

We want to build the cleanest, most profitable ecosystem possible, and sometimes that means knowing when to scrap an experiment that isn't working.

Thank you all for being part of the Alpha and for your continued support as we build.

[Announcement] HashedMax Payout Update: 0% Pool Fees, Stronger Finder Rewards, and Fairer Small-Miner Rules (Go-live 6/21/26)

Good morning miners,

Over the last few weeks, we have been closely reviewing the data on how block rewards are split across our pools. Our goal has always been simple: ensure more of every block stays with the miners, reward the actual block finders properly, keep loyalty meaningful, and eliminate reward manipulation which was occurring.

To achieve this, we are fundamentally restructuring the payout models, and most importantly, we are moving to a 0% pool fee model across the board.

Why We Are Making These Changes

  • 0% Pool Fee: We are shifting away from taking 1% off every block and moving entirely toward a community-first block reward model.
  • Finder-First Mechanics: Finding a block should pay heavily. We are increasing the maximum finder bonus across every single pool.
  • Fixing the Small-Miner Bonus: The old 8% equal-split bonus was well-intentioned, but the data showed it was too easy to game with USB sticks and micro-miners connecting solely to siphon the bonus slice. We are tightening these rules to protect genuine miners (edited from: legitimate operators)
  • PPLNS is Untouched: This is crucial. PPLNS (share-based pay) remains exactly the same at 66% (depending on finder's reward tier) of the block. If your hardware submits shares, you still earn on every block proportional to your work.

The New Structure vs. The Old Structure

For context, under the current model (at the max 168h active finder tier), the block is split as follows: 1% Pool Fee, up to 20% Finder, 66% PPLNS, 5% Loyalty, and 8% Small Miner.

Here is the newly proposed model tailored to the specific dynamics of each chain:

Pool Pool Fee Small Bonus Small Bonus Floor Loyalty Max Finder Reward
DGB 0% 3% (was 8%) None 6% (was 5%) 25% (was 20%)
BTC 0% Removed (was 8%) N/A 5% 29% (was 20%)
BCH 0% 4% (was 8%) 0.5–20 TH 6% (was 5%) 24% (was 20%)

Finder Tiers remain at the same hourly steps (4% @ 8h → 5.6% @ 24h → 8% @ 48h → 12% @ 96h → 16% @ 168h) but now scale to the new maximums listed above.

The Data: How This Impacts You

When we modeled these changes against a live snapshot of our pools, here is exactly how the math broke down:

DigiByte (DGB) Breakdown (~262 DGB block) DGB stays highly inclusive with no hashrate floor. Nobody loses eligibility for the small bonus (all ~298 eligible miners stay eligible). We are simply trimming the slice from 8% to 3% and giving that weight directly to finders and loyal miners.

  • The Big Win: Block finders at the max tier jump from ~54.2 DGB to ~67.3 DGB (+24% total credit).
  • The Trade-off: Sub-1 GH (USB/ESP class) miners will see roughly a 29% drop per block, while larger rigs over 10 TH remain essentially flat.
  • Digibyte weekly winner will be increased to 2500 DGB
  • Digibyte weekly loyalty bonus drop will be increased to 2500 DGB

Bitcoin (BTC) Breakdown (~3.125 BTC block) We want to heavily discourage USB-stick bonus farming on BTC and reward the massive hash power required to actually find blocks.

  • The Big Win: The finder reward at max tier surges from 0.625 BTC to 0.906 BTC (+44%).
  • The Trade-off: The Small Bonus is completely removed. The ~366 small-bonus eligible miners today will lose that slice, equating to roughly a 31% drop per block for sub-1 GH rigs. However, they still earn their 66% PPLNS and 5% loyalty exclusively offered by this pool.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Breakdown (~3.125 BCH block) We are implementing a strict 0.5 TH floor to qualify for the small bonus. This ensures the 4% pool goes to real, small ASICs and not USB farms.

  • The Big Win: Miners above 0.5 TH will actually see slightly more small bonus per capita, as the 4% is split among fewer people (dropping from 82 eligible miners to 37). Loyalty payouts increase by +20% per eligible miner , and max-tier finders jump from 0.692 to 0.817 BCH (+18%).
  • The Trade-off: The ~45 miners operating under 0.5 TH will lose the small slice, but again, keep their PPLNS and loyalty earnings.

Timeline & Next Steps

Ultimately, there is no more 1% pool skim. 100% of the block reward now goes directly to the miners. If you find a block, you get paid significantly more. The small bonus is no longer a free lunch for equal-split gaming, but your shares will always pay you every single block via PPLNS and loyalty will still pay.

These changes are officially set to go live in 7 days, on Sunday, June 21, 2026. We believe this new structure builds a fairer, more sustainable ecosystem, but we also recognize that every mining operation has different goals. Transparency is a core value here at HashedMax. By providing a full week's notice, our goal is to ensure you have adequate time to review the data, calculate your potential yields, and decide if this new model still aligns with your hardware strategy. If it doesn't, we completely respect your decision to point your rigs elsewhere.

If you want us to run your specific wallet address against the new model to see your exact impact, you can DM either of the Reddit mods on this subreddit, or send a modmail, and we can run the numbers for you.

Thank you for your continued support, and happy hashing to all!

Note: We are still working on optimizing tokens, payout model, and changes for the multi-pool.

[Announcement] Updates Coming to Small Miner Bonus

Good morning miners,

We’ve heard your feedback regarding the Small Miner Bonus, and we are actively working on a rework of the payout structure.

Ultimately, we’ve realized that a one-size-fits-all model doesn't align with our vision for the ecosystem or give our miners the best experience. We are currently adapting the payout models to better suit each individual pool.

We expect to have these changes ready to go live in the next few days. In the meantime, we wanted to ensure transparency and let you all know that we are on it.

Thank you all for the feedback and your continued support. More details to come soon, happy hashing!

[Announcement] The Profit-Switching SHA-256 Multi-Pool (BC2, NMC, XEC) is Live

Miners,

We’ve officially launched our dedicated multi-pool for miners who want a single stratum connection that automatically hunts for the highest profitability. We are considering this an alpha launch and would love any and all feedback from the community, including bug reports!

How It Works

Instead of picking a single chain, you connect once. The pool automatically monitors and switches your hashrate between Bitcoin 2 (BC2), Namecoin (NMC), and eCash (XEC) based on whichever network is the most profitable to mine at that exact second. When the active coin shifts, your cryptographic work and payouts seamlessly follow the correct chain.

Crucial Setup Step (Please Read)

This is not a standard single-coin pool. Because we intentionally avoid auto-swapping to protect our miners from custodial risk, you must register three distinct payout addresses on the miner dashboard before the stratum will authorize your worker:

  • BC2 Address
  • XEC Address
  • NMC Address

Once registered, you can use any one of those three addresses as your stratum username. The backend will automatically route your payouts to the correct coin wallet when the pool switches.

Need wallet help? Official Download Links & Guide

Connection Details

URL: stratum+tcp://multi.hmpool.io:PORT

Username: YOUR_ADDRESS.workername

Password: x

We utilize variable difficulty (vardiff) tuned specifically by hashrate. Please use the correct port for your hardware to ensure optimal share submission and pool stability:

Port Target Hardware
3350 ESP32, NerdMiner, ultra-low hashrate
3351 CPU/GPU, USB sticks, small FPGAs
3352 Bitaxe, NerdAxe, solo ASIC class
3353 Mid-range ASICs (roughly 1.5 to 20 TH/s)
3354 Farms and rentals up to ~100 TH/s
3355 Large farms, 100 to 500 TH/s
3356 Industrial / PH/s class

Not sure which to use? Try the Port Wizard.

Payouts: The HMP FairShare System

This pool runs on our signature FairShare architecture with a standard 1% pool fee on block rewards. When the pool finds a block, the reward is distributed as follows to prioritize loyal miners:

  • 20%Finder Bonus: Weighted by your active mining time to reward consistent uptime.
  • 5%Loyalty Split: Distributed equally among all miners active for 7+ days.
  • 8%Small-Miner Boost: Extra yield designed to protect and reward home miners.
  • 66%PPLNS: Distributed based on your submitted work over a 7-day rolling window.

Balances build individually per coin until you hit the payout threshold and then are paid directly on-chain to your registered address for that specific asset. Read the full FairShare payout breakdown here.

Who is this for?

Everyone. From at-home lottery miners running a single Bitaxe to full-scale industrial ASIC farms.

This multi-pool operates as a separate product on its own dedicated subdomain, but it is built and operated by the exact same team running the standard HashedMax pools (BTC, DGB, BCH).

Important Links:

A Note on Weekly Rewards & Privacy

Because this multi-pool utilizes three separate payout addresses per user, tracking entries for our standard weekly reward drawings would require us to build identifiable user profiles. To protect your privacy and stick to our non-custodial, no-KYC ethos, we deliberately chose not to implement profiles. As a result, the weekly reward drawings are not active on the multi-pool at this time.

However, we are always listening to you. If the community decides they would rather have the rewards and are open to an opt-in profile system down the line, we can absolutely revisit this architecture. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Happy to answer any setup questions in the comments below. If you're spinning up, the miner dashboard is the absolute best place to confirm your shares, see the currently active coin, and check your payout profile status.

Let's keep building and Happy Hashing!

[Dev Update] FairShare Update: Less Punishing Architecture for Loyal Miners (BTC / BCH / DGB)

Good morning miners,

We just pushed a major FairShare tuning update across all three pools (BTC, BCH, and DGB) based directly on feedback we've been receiving from our miners. Here is exactly what changed, why we changed it, and how it impacts your payouts.

What Changed?

  • Block Eligibility Window: Expanded from 15 Minutes to 2 Hours If your miner briefly goes offline for a quick restart, an ISP blip, or a firmware update, you are now far less likely to miss out on a block payout. The old 15-minute window was simply too tight for real-world mining environments.
  • The Max 20% Finder Bonus Tier is Now Clearly Defined The maximum 20% Finder Bonus now unlocks at 160 active hours out of the last 168 hours (a rolling 7-day window). We define an “active hour” as any hour where your miner submits at least one valid share. Translation: You can now have up to 8 hours of total downtime in a single week (maintenance, drops, restarts) and still hit the max payout tier. Perfect, uninterrupted uptime is no longer required to get your maximum loyalty rewards.

What Did NOT Change?

  • The 24-Hour Payout Gap Rule Stays Intact We are committed to protecting our loyal, steady miners. We are not rewarding pool-hopping or long, strategic disconnects. The core loyalty protections remain fully active.

Why We Made This Change

Miners were rightfully telling us that their FairShare progress felt "stuck" after normal maintenance, and that block payouts felt overly punishing for brief, accidental disconnects.

Our goal was never to demand flawless, enterprise-grade uptime from hobbyist or home rigs, it was simply to reward consistent, loyal mining. These adjustments bring the backend system in line with how real-world mining hardware actually operates.

If your dashboard metrics still look off on your end after this update, please DM us your specific pool and wallet address so we can pull your data and take a look. We are always open to feedback.

[Announcement] We are officially LIVE as a DigiDollar Price Oracle & A Quick Multi-Pool Update

Miners,

Remember that subtle "8-of-15 Schnorr" tease from our last developer update? Today, we can finally make it official.

HashedMax has been tapped to serve as a foundational Price Oracle for the DigiDollar network, and our dedicated node goes live today.

For those who haven't been following the latest Taproot implementations on DigiByte, DigiDollar is a decentralized, native stablecoin built directly on the UTXO blockchain. However, because a blockchain cannot physically "see" real-world USD prices, it requires a highly secure, multi-signature consensus of 35 trusted oracles to constantly feed that data in.

We are incredibly proud to announce that HashedMax is now one of those 35 pillars securing this new financial architecture.

What does this mean for you?

This doesn't change anything about your daily mining experience or our DGB pool. What it does do is cement HashedMax as a core, verified piece of the DigiByte ecosystem's infrastructure. We are moving beyond just aggregating hashrate; we are actively helping secure the network's financial future.

It is a massive signal of trust, and we couldn't have reached this level of ecosystem integration without the community backing the pool. Thank you all for keeping your hash pointed here.

Behind the scenes, we are diligently working on the multi-pool. More updates on that coming soon as we work through the payout structure and the feasibility of the rewards system.

Thank you for choosing HashedMax. Let's keep building.

Dev Update: Backend Stability Upgrades, the SHA-256 Multi-Pool, and What's Next

Hey everyone,

First off, apologies for the radio silence since we announced the winner of the 1,000th block bounty! We have had our heads down in the code, and I wanted to surface to give you all a quick update on what the team has been working on behind the scenes.

Backend Infrastructure Upgrades: Our primary focus over the last couple of days/weeks has been on core infrastructure. As the community has grown, we’ve seen some massive hashrate bursts hit the pool. To ensure we can handle that scale flawlessly, we just finished executing a series of major backend upgrades. These improvements have dramatically increased our stratum stability across the board, meaning the pool is now fully optimized to absorb extreme, sudden surges in hashrate without dropping a single connection.

The SHA-256 Multi-Pool: I also know a lot of you have been asking about the SHA-256 multi-pool we polled about a while back. We are actively building it out right now. We are keeping things under wraps regarding the specific token rotation, payout structures, and exact mechanics for the time being, but know that it is heavily in development. We want to make sure the architecture is rock-solid and the profitability logic is perfectly tuned before we release any definitive details. I will state, the BTC pool will be remaining!

Looking Ahead... On a side note, we’ve been closely monitoring the latest Taproot implementations on the DigiByte network. We are currently evaluating some highly specific infrastructure requirements on our end, specifically involving 8-of-15 Schnorr threshold signatures and external price data feeds. We are incredibly excited about the next evolution of DGB utility.

We are building this the right way, entirely focused on maximizing your hardware’s yield without cutting corners.

Thank you all for the continued support and for keeping your hash pointed at HashedMax. Let us know if you have any questions below, and we'll keep you posted as we get closer to the multi-pool launch.

Happy hashing all!

[Announcement] WE HIT BLOCK 1,000! The 26,000 DGB Milestone Drop is Coming Shortly

Miners, we did it.

The HashedMax Unity DGB pool smashed through Block 1,000. The momentum over the last 24 hours was absolutely historic, and you all kept your hashrate locked in to get us over the finish line.

We have officially pulled the data snapshots and verified the backend. Here is exactly how the 26,000 DGB milestone drop breaks down:

The 1,000 DGB Finder's Bounty: Massive congratulations to the miner who scored the winning hash! The 1,000 DGB bonus is going directly to wallet address: dgb1q87z0c...hlg0t9.

The 25,000 DGB FairShare Community Drop: At the exact moment the block was solved, we verified exactly 243 eligible loyal miners holding active FairShare status. The 25,000 DGB vault is being divided among you, meaning each eligible miner will be receiving exactly 102.88065843 DGB.

Important Logistics Note: Because this is a massive, manually verified drop, you will see these bonus transactions hit your wallets from an alternative administrative address, rather than our standard pool hot wallet. We do this intentionally so that our automated pool yield metrics and daily accounting stay perfectly clean.

The transactions are being queued up right now. Thank you to every single one of you who points hash at this ecosystem and believes in what we are building here. HashedMax has evolved immensely over the last few months, but we are just getting started. Let's keep building.

On to the next milestones of 2500, 5000, and 10,000. We hope to have some big surprises ready by the time those milestones are achieved.

1000 Approaching

Good morning, Miners!

If you haven't looked at the DGB dashboard yet today, you need to. We just obliterated our previous records and pulled in 74 blocks in the last 24 hours, almost double our all-time high daily block count of 38 blocks (33 depending on what time of day you start counting).

We are currently sitting at 972 blocks (edit: 973 as I typed this) The momentum right now is insane, and it means the 26,000 DGB milestone drop (FairShare Community Drop + the 1,000 DGB Block Finder Bounty) is imminent.

A quick reminder: When Block 1,000 hits, the payout will not be automated. We will manually verify the block finder and pull the loyalty snapshots to ensure every single active miner gets exactly what they earned, so expect a delay from block find to payout.

Let's keep this hashrate locked in and smash through this milestone!

[Announcement] DGB Block 1,000 Update: Payout Logistics & Verification

Miners,

We are officially in the home stretch. As of right now, we are sitting at 938 blocks found, with 50 blocks solved in the last 24 hours alone. We are burning through these remaining blocks fast.

Because we are getting so close to the massive 26,000 DGB milestone drop, I want to set clear expectations on exactly how that payout will be handled when the 1,000th block finally hits.

The 26k drop will NOT be automated. When Block 1,000 is solved, the 25,000 DGB FairShare community drop and the 1,000 DGB Block Finder Bounty will not be dispatched instantly by the automated pool payout engine.

The Reason: We want to ensure 100% accuracy. We are going to manually validate the backend data before anything is sent. This allows us to independently verify the exact wallet that scored the winning hash for the Finder's Bounty, and pull a pristine snapshot of every single miner who actively maintained FairShare Loyalty Status at the exact moment the block was solved. We will provide a full breakdown of how many miners were included in the loyalty drop.

The Timeline: Because this is a manual audit, expect a delay of up to a few hours between the block being solved and the milestone rewards hitting your wallets.

Please note: Our team operates on East Coast Time. If Block 1,000 gets solved in the middle of the night, those milestone rewards will not be verified and processed until the following morning. Don't panic if you wake up to a solved block but haven't seen the drop yet!

Keep your rigs locked in. Let's get this hashrate over the finish line.

Happy hashing!

[Announcement] Wallet Addresses Incorrect for Some Users

Good evening miners,

We were doing some routine checks on the backend this week and noticed a handful of users across all of our pools are currently mining to mismatched wallet addresses.

For example, we are seeing miners plugging a BTC receiving address into the DGB stratum, or using a BCH address on the pure BTC pool.

Why this matters: If your address doesn't match the specific network you are pointing hash at, our automated payout engine physically cannot route your funds. Your rigs are doing the heavy lifting, but the payouts will fail, meaning you are missing out on your block rewards and your FairShare loyalty drops. We want you to get your well deserved payouts!

The Fix: Please take two minutes today to check your ASICs, HiveOS flight sheets, .bat files, or any other method you have for connecting your miners. Ensure the wallet address you are using as your username matches the exact network of the stratum you are connected to.

We want to make sure every single ounce of hashrate you point at HashedMax gets the exact payout it deserves.

Happy hashing! ⚒️

[Announcement] New Dashboard Features Added

Good morning, Miners!

A few UI updates just went live on the dashboard, and we want to highlight exactly what you are looking at.

For reference, the first attached image shows the DGB pool dashboard for a miner who has been connected long enough to reach maximum payout thresholds. The second image shows the BCH pool for a miner who has not been connected for 48 hours.

Here is the breakdown of the new dashboard modules:

  1. Pool Hashrate This section now prominently displays the current total hashrate for the pool, along with real-time data on active connected miners and total workers.

  2. FairShare Loyalty Indicator This module shows your current eligibility status for the loyalty bonus. By hovering over the tooltip icon, you will get a detailed breakdown explaining the exact eligibility requirements, how we define maximum disconnect gaps, and the specific criteria required for a block payout.

  3. Finder's Bonus Rate Indicator This section displays your current Finder's Bonus tier (the percentage of the block reward you receive if your specific rig finds the block). Hovering over the tooltip will show the hourly cut-offs. If you have not yet reached the maximum reward threshold, the tooltip will dynamically display the exact number of hours required for you to "tier-up."

If you have any questions don't hesitate to reach out.

Happy hashing!

[Announcement] The 1,000th DGB Block Celebration: 26,000 Total DGB Drop!

Miners,

The HashedMax Unity DGB pool is rapidly closing in on a massive milestone: our 1,000th block.

The hashrate you all have brought to the network has been absolutely relentless. To mark this milestone, we are putting the celebration directly back into the hands of the people securing the chain.

We are dropping a total of 26,000 DGB on the 1,000th block, split into two distinct rewards.

Part 1: The 25,000 DGB FairShare Community Drop We are dropping a flat 25,000 DGB bonus directly onto the 1,000th block to reward the collective effort.

  • How it works: This massive block reward will be split evenly amongst all active miners who have achieved FairShare Loyalty Status at the exact moment the 1,000th block is solved.
  • If you aren't pointed at the pool yet, now is the time to connect your rigs and build up your loyalty threshold before the block hits. If you are already dialed in, keep your stratum locked to ensure you don't lose your status.

Part 2: The 1,000 DGB Block Finder Bounty Hashrate is a team effort, but finding the block is the ultimate bragging right.

  • The Details: The specific miner whose rig actually solves the 1,000th block will receive an exclusive 1,000 DGB bonus straight to their wallet.
  • The more hashrate you point at the pool, the higher your statistical probability of being the one to strike the milestone block and claim the extra bounty.

Thank you for building this decentralized infrastructure with us. Let's get back to the math and push this hashrate over the finish line.
