What tiny saving habit actually sticks for you?

I’m trying to get better at saving money through small daily decisions instead of huge budgeting rules.

For example:

  • making coffee at home instead of buying it
  • waiting 24 hours before buying something non-essential
  • cooking one extra meal instead of takeout
  • using what’s already in the pantry before grocery shopping
  • moving a small amount into savings after skipping a purchase

The problem is that these tiny wins are easy to forget, so they don’t always feel motivating even when they add up.

For people who have actually stuck with saving habits: what small habit worked for you, and how do you keep yourself consistent?
